The Double Humped Camel

Our trusty Russian minivan had taken us far across Mongolia's steepes but it was no match for the sandy dunes we were about to explore, time to travel with nature's original offroader - camels! Native to the region and able to withstand the harsh extremes of temperature and water scarcity, bactrian camels have double humps making it a super comfortable ride and we travelled across the dunes with ease!
