ART OF THE JOURNEY

Kyoto at Dusk

Wandering the historical streets of Kyoto at dusk is a perfect way to wind down after a long journey from Nepal. Once the capital of Japan, Kyoto has thousands of classical Buddhist temples, as well as gardens, imperial palaces, Shinto shrines and traditional wooden houses. After hours of roaming, we sit down to some Okonomiyaki (a Japanese pancake), a native dish to the Kansai region and wash it down with an ice cold Asahi. The perfect end to our night in Kyoto.
