Driving along the Queen's Highway we stopped in New Bight to admire a church that caught our eye. The 'Holy Redeemer' consecrated in 1948, a whitewashed limestone structure with a bell tower and gargoyles, is one of 5 churches built on Cat Island by the well travelled architect-priest Father Jerome.
